Besitos de Coco

My first memory visiting Puerto Rico as a kid, was of buying Besitos de Coco across the street from our condo in Isabela. This treat is toasted coconut macaroons and just one out of many sweets the island has to offer. This scent completely evokes that memory for me: being on the island under the hot sun with family, enjoy the ocean waves, drinking parcha and eating Besitos de Coco.
